Panorama Tours invites you to experience the vibrant city of Kiev and whilst there, check out the Aviation Museum of Ukraine with its wonderful display of static aircraft!

Located not far from the city centre, the Aviation Museum of Ukraine was opened on 30 September 2003 to much pomp and circumstance as it also celebrated 3 anniversaries - the 100th Anniversary of World Aviation, the 80th Anniversary of Ukrainian Aviation and the 70th Anniversary of the National Aviation University. Now it is home to more than 70 types of civil and military aircraft as well as helicopters and an impressive range of cruise missiles, unmanned aerial aircraft and armament weapons including:

MiG-15, MiG-21, MiG-23, MiG-25, MiG-29

Tupolev Tu-104, Tu-134, Tu-154

Ilyushin Il-14, Il-18, Il-62, Il-76, Il-86

This is just a small selection of the aircraft on display. Visits inside of the Il-62 and Mi-26 are permitted. Visits inside other aircraft may also be possible.

As part of your visit to the Museum, there will be a 2 hour guided tour in English (other languages available on request).

Whilst in Kiev, you will be staying at the 4* Radisson SAS Hotel Kiev

which is located in the heart of the city centre. From here, its just a few minutes walk to the main tourist attractions - St Volodymyrs Cathedral (c 1882) The Golden Gate Museum, St Sophia Cathedral (c 1037), Andreyevsky Spusk (main area for purchasing souvenirs, paintings and traditional craftwork), the Opera and Kreshatik Street (more info CLICK HERE).

When it comes to entertainment, there is no shortage of this. Cafes, Bars and Restaurants spill out onto the pavements in Summer providing the opportunity to relax and enjoy the balmy summer afternoon & evenings (more info CLICK HERE). If its culture you are looking for then take in a Classical Concert, or Ballet or Opera performance. Nightclubs are plentiful offering you the chance to dance the night away.
