The cruise starts in Ukraine's ancient capital Kiev. See all the sites including the thousand year old St Sophia's Cathedral, the Pecherska Lavra (cave monastery), Independence Square which witnessed the Orange Revolution, shop along Andriyivsky Uzviz, and also have the opportunity to see a performance at the amazing Kiev Opera house.



After your time in Ukraine's capital, you will disembark for Kaniv - famed site of the monument and grave of Ukraine's national hero - the bard Taras Shevchenko. As the cruise continues down the Dnipro, you will see the vast Ukrainian Steppe, visit the city of Kremenchuk and also stop in Zaporizhzhya, home of the legendary Ukrainian Cossacks.


After a visit to Kherson where you will be taken on a boat ride into the Dnipro delta and visit a local fishing village, you embark towards the Crimea. Ukraine's Riviera, Crimea is steeped in history, blessed with natural beauty, graced by majestic palaces and basks in a Mediterranean climate. Visit the site of the Yalta conference and the Livadia Palace, walk in the steps on the Russian Tsar's, sit in the Crimean Tatar Khan's harem in Batchisarai, walk amongst Roman ruins at Chersonesus and relax with the sound of the Black Sea lapping the shores of the Crimean Peninsula.


As you depart Crimea, the cruise docks in Odessa - the pearl of the Black Sea. Moored by the famous Potemkin Steps, Odessa continues to fascinate all who visit her. Architecturally stunning, Odessa is a stunning city to conclude your cruise in Ukraine.


Travelling aboard the MS Princess Dnieper, your entire journey is conducted in European style and comfort. Fully renovated in 2003, this modern fully air-conditioned vessel features 2 restaurants, 2 bars, beauty salon, souvenir shops, on-board doctor, massage service and multi-lingual staff throughout. The sun deck is the perfect way to relax in the gentle Ukrainian sunshine as you sail towards your next destination.

On-board activities will also ensure no time is left unfulfilled, with the opportunity to participate in Ukrainian language, history and cooking lessons, cultural performances, and who can resist Ukrainian wine tasting? There is nightly entertainment with musicians performing in the Sky Bar, or if you're after a more low-key evening relax in the Panorama Bar with a local cognac.

Your Upper Deck Cabin features opening windows, ample power points, private washroom with shower, sink and w/c, wardrobe, shelving space, on-board radio and individual air-conditioning unit.


All meals are provided, starting with an all you can eat hot and continental breakfast buffet followed by an ample plated lunch and finally a delicious three course dinner. The menu changes daily to ensure you sample a wide variety of Ukraine's fresh produce. Specific dietary requirements are tentatively catered for.

Cruises last 12 days, and itinerary may be reversed depending on disembarking date/destination. If taking a Kiev-Odessa cruise an additional night's accommodation is required in Kiev before the return international flight.

Additional tours are purchased on board and currencies accepted are Euro, USD or Ukrainian Hryvnia. Drinks (other than those included with the meal) are not included and when purchased, are charged back to cabin numbers and paid upon departure.
